Vintage? Addicting?

Hello there!!!

I have been kind of trying out a different style and I must admit I am kind of loving it! Vintage has never really been my thing but it has been fun to mess around with some ideas.

I had to make a guy card and decided that distressing and inking really make it a whole lot easier to create manly cards. It gives it a more grungy look! I really love the way this turned out and I hope you guys like it too!

For the background on the note card I used different words from one of the Pink By Design Stamps! Do you love it? It took forever to line them up on a clear block but it was totally worth it!

To shop for Pink By Design Stamps CLICK HERE!

I was thinking of maybe doing a giveaway!!! Leave me a comment letting me know what craft item or style are you loving right now and you could with a Pink By Design Stamp of your choice!!! Looking forward to hearing from you guys and just know I love you all!!!!

Great card. You totally "manned" it up. Right now I'm loving cards with pockets to slip in a tag either stamped or with a little gift attatched. July is a busy birthday month for me so I need something quick that does double duty.

Super man card! I am totally into using the Tim Holtz distress inks! They can really change the way a project looks!

Oh don't you just love the distressing. I love it. I have a hard time trying not to distress stuff. I have been better at using bright and cheery. But vintage can also be bright and cheery.
The card looks great. You will be addicted.

I think your card turned out excellent. I can deal with distressing, but I have a hard time time vintage, steampunk, and the one with all of the flowers...can't remember what they call it. I am more of a KISS...you know clean and simple. I think my mother may have dropped me on my head a few times. Glad to see you are posting projects again. You are truly missed, and I love ALL of the projects you have done!

Your card looks great! I'm new to card-making so I haven't experimented too much...but lately I find that I really like using little rhinestones or "bling". It just adds a little wow factor to any card.

This card is great! I agree it was well worth the time :) My favourite tings to do craft wise right now is to make my own embellishments. I have discovered that I can make almost anything at a faction of the price and have a ton of fun while doing it!

I love your manly card. My hubby loves photography and I know he would like your card.

Right now (like this week) I am designing and starting to make 12 sets of calendars. Each month has a different layered theme. These will be Christmas presents. I sold one extra set I had last year for $120 NOT BAD. This year the lady says that she wants two sets.

I love making flowers that look real.

So good to see you posting more. Love the card,it is differant from your usual style, but I like it. Great guy card.

As for style, I don't have one yet. Just got an E2 and am loving it. Since the move I haven't had much time to really get back into the swing, but am trying to do a little every day.

I want to try paper piecing and want to find out about SVG files and SureCutsAlot.

Thanks for the chance to win some cool stamps. I haven't bought stamps in a long, long time.

Momo - that's a great card! I didn't think I had a style, but I just created a minibook for my friend, and I naturally gravitated toward vintage - shabby. Who knew? Lots of inking, distressing, and lacey type embellishments. Hmmm...
