Meet the Designers-Joanna

So I have been wanting to do a "Meet the Designers" for some time now ever since I saw it on Peachy Keen Stamps. I think it is such an amazing way to get to know other bloggers and share a little about themselves.

For those that are new to my blog I have a Tuesday Challenge every other week and I have 4 Designers that create some amazing projects for a little bit of inspiration. Today you will get to meet the first one and Trish is up on Friday! I hope that you all enjoy this and visit all of their blogs!!! You will not be disappointed.

We are starting off with Joanna! The minute I saw her blog I knew I loved her! :o) My favorite part of Joanna's style is how colorful her projects always are! I asked all the girls to send me a project showing their crafting style and to send me a blurb with some fun facts about them!

MEET JOANNA!!!
Hi everyone! Most of you might know me by now from my blog Scrap-Making.blogspot.com, I'm Joanna Bandelin. I have been a designer for Made By Momo for about 6 months now and all I can say is that Momo is the sweetest person around! She has been a great inspiration to me and when she asked me to be a designer for her I was thrilled! I have been a scrapbooker now for about 7 years. I really got into it when I was scrapbooking my wedding and that was all in my 'pre-Cricut' days. You can really see how my creativeness has grown over the years, just by looking through my 1st scrapbooks! lol..Now-a-days I have been more of a card-maker, mostly because it's easier and faster than making layouts. I usually just make cards for fun, but around birthdays and holidays I love to give them away. I started my blog when I had my daughter because I was up at all hours of the night looking at everyone else's blogs and galleries, I thought it would be fun to start my own. Now my one year blog-a-versary is coming up and I can not believe it! I have made so many bloggy friends and have gotten so much positive feedback from so many people. It's really great the amount of support we all get in the creative world! I started my blog to share my projects and ideas with others, it's really been fun meeting so many people with similar interest. I guess my style of crafting is kind of cutesy. I love my projects to be bright and colorful..which I'm sure most you have noticed! :) My favorite tool to use is my Cricut and my Gypsy. And the things I can't live without, are my Peachy Keen stamps and a white gelly pen ((I have to be able to doodle!)).  A little bit more about me...I am 24... I have been a hairstylist for almost 7 years..so if you are ever in need of a new hair style let me know! :) I have been married for almost 5 years and we have a beautiful little girl (Natalie) who just turned one! We have a yellow Lab named Dani..he is a big ball of fur! I have lived in Southern California my whole life. When I was 19 I moved to a little mountain town that I just loved! Unfortunately we had to move away, but one day we would love to move back! We just bought our 1st home this year and it has been fun decorating it. I also come from a big family, I have 3 sisters (and we all shared one bathroom growing up!). I love to bake, especially around this time of year! When I was a kid I always wanted to be an artist, so I guess be crafty is close enough! :) I am also a Design Team member for Peachy Keen Stamps, BBTB2, Scrappy Mom's Stamps and EAD Designs, so you may have seen my projects there too!
I hope you all liked getting to know me a little bit more!

I decided to do a giveaway all 4 days that the girls are introduced. Since Joanna is a Peachy Keen lover I decided to giveaway a $10.00 Peachy Keen Gift Certificate! How can you win? Leave me a comment and tell me your favorite project Joanna has made!

Hey Momo!
I must say I loved Joanna's Thanksgiving layout for her baby girl. I'm a huge fan of paper dolls myself, and I loved all the PKS faces she used on the pumpkins and in the title, as well as on the indian girl and the turkey. Being Australian, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving as such, and so it's always something I look at keenly on other people's blogs because it clearly means so much to them.
Cheers!
Deb.
