There are sooo many amazing ladies that are part of this hop, I can't even wait to see what everyone comes up with! I am sure the banners are going to be amazing. So we had to make a Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years Banner! I chose to do a Thanksgiving Banner for a big family Thanksgiving dinner we are having at my Godmothers house!!! I am so excited we are all going to be together this year! I just know she is going to LOVE this banner! She loves everything I make! :o)
I had every intention of making a video but it just was not possible. I tried my best to be as specific as possible in the description. For all the details look below the photos. Hope you like it!

So what am I thankful for....Ur going to make me cry....
Its been a really long and trying year for me.
1. It started with my husband having to take a week of furlo days (unpaid timeoff) plus no cost of incrase or raises for 3 years. Bad news to start the year.
But I am thankful he was not one of the ones at his job to be laid off.
2. On January 5th I was told I missed a Christmas card in my email and to look at it. I did and it didnt make sence to me. On the 6th while driving to the OBGYN to find out why I was not pregnant my dad called and asked if I got the card. I let him know I did but did not understand it. He let me know that the cute picture of a baby I had never seen before was my 14 year olds daughter. Who had been born in November of 2009. 35 years old and a grandmother. OUCH.
But I am thankful for a child that has made my irrisponsible child responsible. I am thankful that she was born healthy. I am thankful that my daughter is getting all A's in school even with a baby at home. I am most thankful for the chance to meet my grandaughter and mend the rift between me and my daughter. We had not talked in two years alsmost.
3. I was admitted to the hospital on June 6th, I was at a TOPS confrence and my body ached and feet swelled up and I couldnt walk anymore. I bouht a walker so I could just get to the toilet. I drove home after the confrence 75 miles and my husband saw me and then drove me to the ER. I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis. yep its bad. It can kill me dead. It is not fun becasue the pills can kill me too. I spent 11 days in the hospital. I also got a blood transfusion while there. And IV iorn.
But I am thankful that the husband wife team walked into my hospital room that night. I am thankful that they were giddy and school kids when they saw my legs and KNEW 100% what I had. They sounded just like Dr. House. I am thankful for a correct diagnosis. I am thankful for the experiance of all of this and it not progressing til it killed me.
4. When God plays a trick on you and your entire beach area in your state is large rocks not sand you just have to make lemonaid out of those rocks. I have been in and out of a cast sence March of this year. I sit here with a bright orange cast on right now. I live on the third floor and I am housebound for6 weeks. LIFE SUCKS NO BLACK FRIDAY FOR ME.
But I am thankful for this last chance before they say the s word and k word. My Dr thinks i will need surgery and go under the knife. But I am being VERY GOOD following all orders.
I am also thankful for water proof cast lining. its nice to beable to get my cast wet. (not this one but previous one) and shower with no trashbag over my leg. I am also thankful that I wont waste money on black friday this year.
5. Most of all. I am thankful that I am here alive and breathing today. I am thankful that I have gone from a size 26 in January of this year to a size 16 as of today even with 11 days in the hospital, and a cast on my foot for most of the year.
I am thankful for my Dad being alive.
I am thankful for my husband and all he does for me. and his support with all I do.
I am thankful that I can start the new year off with a fresh start to all of my dreams.

My husband & I do not have any children except for the fluffy kind. I am so thankful this year that we have made it without having lost any. 2009 was tough for us. We lost 4 of our beloved kitties in a span of 10 months. I am grateful that the both of us have jobs and are healthy,but losing our Fur Babies was rough. We have 3 young ones now that make us laugh. So as I look back, I know, I have A LOT to be grateful for!

i am very thankful for a lot. i am thankful i am still alive and able to walk. even though i was just told Monday i have bones of a 100 yr old and should be in a chair. im thankful for my dad surviving his massive heart attack 2 months ago and is having no complications. i am thankful for my degrees and the knowledge they have given me. i am thankful that my blood clot went away in only 2 years. i am thankful for the communication i have with my family and friends. it means a lot to me. i am thankful i have had my best friend in my life for 15 years. i am thankful that even though i have a lot of health problems i am still alive.

wow gorgeous banner!!! so very inspirational. I am so very THANKFUL for my children, husband, new friends, old friends, family, co-workers, Youtube, blogs, facebook, and the volunteer moms at my kids school. Facebook has connected me to my family in the Philippines. i have never met some of them in person and i am glad that I can communicate with them. i wish i had the money to visit them. ty for ur inspiration
