My favorite thing about fall is the change in the air. Those first few nights when it starts to get cold at night and the air smells crisp and clean.

I wish I could say that my favorite part of fall is the cool, crisp weather, but it can be 100 degrees here in Arizona 'til Halloween! I guess I'll have to go with the beautiful foliage (even though we don't have much of that here, either)!!! I love the beauty of it and my whole family still has fun jumping in the leaves when we're supposed to be raking.

Fall means long walks through the woods and all the vivid leaf colors...crisp cool air, smells of apples and pears, red noses and rosy cheeks...putting the gardens to sleep and starting the woodstoves - comfort food (fresh baked bread and applesauce) Most of all - family gatherings.
I love all the pretty trees and leaves. It is fun just driving around & looking at them!!

What I love about is the first crisp and cooler mornings. You see in southeast Texas there isn't a big difference between summer and fall. You're either sweltering or freezing. So you really appreciate those few wonderful fall mornings.
