Hello Everyone! I want to thank all of you that have sent me emails and messages asking how I was. I miss you all very much and mostly reading all of your comments.

I have been crafting here and there but nothing frequent. I am really trying to get back into it but I am finding it a little more challenging than usual.

I have 3 family members that have either recently had a baby or are going into labor within the next week. I have been helping with baby showers, baby rooms, and all kinds of fun stuff!

Hi there!

Today I decided to make a little Halloween Pillow Box! I don't really like the scary kind of Halloween but the cutesy wootsy Halloween instead! Honestly my favorite part is seeing all the little kids dressed up in their costumes.

Here is a girly treat box that I have been thinking about for a couple of days now. I kept thinking about what I wanted to do and I knew I had to incorporate rosettes somehow. I hope you enjoy the video!!!

Hello everyone! The Crop this Saturday was a HUGE success!!! Paula's goal was to raise $3000.00 and we made it to $5100.00!!! A huge thank you to all of the sponsors and everyone that donated to the cause. I got to meet some amazing people and talk about all kinds of scrappy goodness!!!

Hello Bloggy Friends!!!

I have been attempting to catch up on my scrapbooking and this is a layout I finshed up recently. I got my scraps and a circle punch and basically went to town. I cut the circles in half and created a scalloped edge on my page.

The Pink By Design stamp set I used is one of my favorite sets. It has some beautiful sayings and honestly can be used on cards, tags, note cards, stationary sets, layouts and more! Check it out here!

This little email brightened my entire day! Thank you so much!

Here is my card for today! I have been wanting to make it for some time now, and I am really glad I was able to finally get it done.

The scalloped card I made with my gypsy and welded 2 scallops from Storybook. The little house is from Create a Critter, and the stamp is of course from the awesome Pink By Design Store!

I hand stitched twine all around the circle and I think I LOVE it! :)

Hope you all find some inspiration and I am off to the Nickelodeon Suite Hotel for the weekend. This is such a needed mini vacation with my nieces and nephews. Work has been kicking my butt! :)

Does anyone miss me?

I miss all of you so much and wish that my schedule let me post more often! I was recently very sick and sort of took some time off to get it together. I am all better now and lets hope I can get back to at least 1 or 2 posts a week.

The card I made was for my coach that absolutely LOVES Tinkerbell! I printed her out and then cut it out in an oval shape using my gypsy. I really love the way it turned out especially considering that I started with nothing but a printed Tinkerbell! LOL :)

I inked all of the edges to add a little color and depth, and the crinkle ribbon and stamp set are from the awesome PINK BY DESIGN store!

Here is a card I made using some fun techniques I have learned from my fellow crafters, I have been wanting to try them out and I finally got a chance to do it.

I put some metallic ink in my cuttlbug folder for a distrssed inked effect. I used some of my NEW ALL TIME favorite crinkle ribbon that my awesome friend Meriah has been making and selling in the Pink By Design Store. Last but not least I have been wanting to emboss image stamps and cut them out as well as layer them. I just love the glossy effect from the embossing powder. (All stamps used are from the awesome Pink By Design Stamp Collection) Well I hope you like my card!

Vintage? Addicting?

Hello there!!!

I have been kind of trying out a different style and I must admit I am kind of loving it! Vintage has never really been my thing but it has been fun to mess around with some ideas.

I had to make a guy card and decided that distressing and inking really make it a whole lot easier to create manly cards. It gives it a more grungy look! I really love the way this turned out and I hope you guys like it too!

For the background on the note card I used different words from one of the Pink By Design Stamps! Do you love it? It took forever to line them up on a clear block but it was totally worth it!

Birthday Card

Happy Saturday Everyone! Today I am sharing a different kind of card, especially for me. A friend of mine ordered a card from me for her Pastor. I have not really made that many religous cards but I though this one came out very nice. My friend mentioned that her Pastor has a yorkie and a parrot that actually says "Aleluya". She wanted me to make a "Pretty" kind of card but add a little humor on the inside. This is what I came up with and I hope you like it too.

I combined 2 of theSpanish sentiment stamps by Pink By Design for the Happy Birthday inside. I love these spanish stamps, especially since I am latin and I love making card for my grandmother and such. Hello everyone!!! I am so excited to announce that I am part of the Pink by Design Family. I am very excited and I have had so much fun playing with all of her stamps. She has everything from sentiments to backgrounds and images too!!!

So I want to ask that all of you join us on the Pink by Design Blog where there is a project posted everyday by the design team. You will learn so many things as I have and we also have the amazing message boards that you will all really enjoy!!!

So onto my project! When I saw this Material Girl stamp set I automatically thought of this card. I wanted large overlapping images and I wanted a card with a window in the front.

I decided to put a 3.5 X 3.5 smaller card inside the larger card so even though we have a window we still have some space to write. I got these images as an SVG file on Etsy and really enjoy all the images it has.

The card base on this one is 5 X 5 which is the perfect size since I wanted some imags to fall off the sides of the card.

Well I hope you love it as much as me and I wanted to give a HUGE thank you to Sarah and Kyle for allowing me into their Design Team!

Arts and Crafts Day with my Fave Cousin!!!

So today I spent the day with my little cousin Emily!!! I say little but she is becoming a teenager (14). She is my favorite cousin and I always feel like I have to be my best around her!!! She was wearing this adorable headband with a flower in it and of course my creative mind said "I can totally make this!". So we decided to go on a adventure to Joanns. So below are some photos of the flowers and headbands we made together. We hot glued them to hairclips so you can switch out the flowers from headband to headband. (Thanks Lauren from Laurens Creative for that great idea). Hope you enjoy!!!

Hello my Bloggy Friends!!!

So I have been thinking of something that I have been wanting to do and wanted to see what everyone thought! I wanted to have Scrapbooking Layout Ustreams (I am not a proffesional by any means but atleast I can share what I have learned along the way) then all of you can share your layouts with me by linking them up to my blog. This way we can all get our albums done little by little. I was either thinking of 1 layout per Ustream twice a month, or 2 layouts once a month.

Happy Mothers Day and Crop for Cops!

Hello Bloggy world and a big Happy Mothers Day to all the amazing moms out there!!! You are all truly some of the worlds biggest Heroes!!!

So today I wanted to share some photos of my very first all day Crop that I did last Saturday with Paula from More than Favors. It was actually a charity crop, and there were over 100 ladies there cropping their life away!!! In addition to cropping our own things we had the oppurtunity to scrapbook some photos of the families that we were raising money for!!! I marked off their faces because I did not want to post their photos without permission! I hope you like them and I will see you all back this week with some more projects and at least one video!

Someone really needs to tell me when I have not posted in 10 days!!!! I just logged on right now and about had a fit when I realized I had not put anything up!!! It's horrible and I am so deeply sorry I have been missing from the craft world.

Missing Momo and some Questions!

Hello everyone! I will be making some projects over the weekend for all of you so that during the week I can focus on studying for some training I am doing at work. It is a 5 week training class, so I am going to try to make projects over the weekend and schedule them for the week.

I have gotten a few emails with the same questions so I decided to answer them all in one post! :o)

1. Am I ok? Yes I am fine. Just changed jobs and currently in training so I have to study every night.

2. Where do I get my clear sleeves for cards? On ebay, CLICK HERE to be directed to the sellers page.

3. Where did the SVG Files from the "What a Tweetheart Card" come from? It came from Lettering Delights but is not availbale for purchase. Sorry. :o(

4. Am I going to record a Make the Cut video? Yes, I am working on it so you all can see how amazing it is! :o)

5. What pen do you use for stitching? Sakura white Jelly-Roll pen (I get mine at Joanns)

6. When is my next UStream? I am not sure but probably sometime in March. It will be on a Saturday.

So onto my project! I decided to make a door hanger with a sexy twist. I put some instructions under the photo for you all!

I created the door hanger myself on my Gypsy using a rectangle and circle from George and Basic Shapes. The rectangle is 11 x 5 and the circle is sized at 3.

The "Do Not Disturb" and Corset are from Tie The Knot. All the pearls I used are from Recollections and I got them at Michaels.

Love is in the Air Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to the "Love is in the air" Blog Hop! You should have arrived from Jennifer's Blog, if not you can start at our super talented host Giselle by CLICKING HERE!

So the theme for the hop is love! That's pretty easy right. I wanted to start this post with a small piece of advice that I follow every single day! If you love someone, tell them that you love them. Let them know everyday that they mean something to you. I strongly believe that you never really know when it might be the last time you speak to someone and a phrase like "I love you" makes a world of difference.

OK so onto the project! My parents are the most lovey dovey couple on the planet and I wanted to make a frame for them. I had seen this wooden frame at Michael's and I really like how the heart insert was off to the side. Here are a couple of photos from beginning to end! Hope you like it!

Tuesday Challenge! (On Wendnesday)

Hey everyone!

I am sorry that I have been missing in action recently, but I am trying to get myself organized. I have 2 BIG "crafty things" happening that I will announce soon. Hint: It's not a product I'm selling.

I must say I loved Joanna's Thanksgiving layout for her baby girl. I'm a huge fan of paper dolls myself, and I loved all the PKS faces she used on the pumpkins and in the title, as well as on the indian girl and the turkey. Being Australian, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving as such, and so it's always something I look at keenly on other people's blogs because it clearly means so much to them.
